Why Should You Hire Me?

I have experienced a unique life (but then, haven’t we all,) and I love to share the information I have gleaned. For the past 37 years I’ve worked in hospitals as a nurse. At heart, I am a caregiver.

For the past 22 years I have written children’s mysteries. This has led to an education on marketing and allowed me to use my second degree of BS in Elementary Education as I visit schools and speak on the writing process. I am a storyteller and teacher.

I wrote a column for the Newberry Observer, in Newberry, SC for a year on Southern Culture from an Outsider’s Perspective. I am a humorist and observer of people and places.

I’ve had the opportunity to travel and absolutely love learning about people everywhere. I am a people-person, anthropologist wanna-be.

I devour the written word, wherever I can find it. I am an avid reader and book hoarder.

I am passionate about the need to record the stories of our elders before it is too late. I am a personal historian.
